Global Warming Workshop |
"e" inc. has added a traveling workshop to its programming repertoire: our "Global Warming Hands-On Action Workshop," targeted to urban and suburban elementary and middle schools. We send an "e" educator to your class to teach a classroom-based 2-hour workshop covering - what global warming is, its causes, the special concerns for life on our planet, and what the students can do today to make a difference!
This new workshops is designed to be engaging and fun. It is and hands-on
and makes the complex issue of global warming accessible to both children
and youth. Outcomes of the one-time workshop include classroom and
school-wide projects such as fossil fuel fast days, monitoring electric
use in classrooms, and student speeches on environmental topics. The
public school community, with 20 schools interested in our project
since we began, has received the program very positively. If YOU are
interested in one for your class or school, please phone us at info@e-action.us
or 617-227-1522.
